The Civil Appeal Trial began today May 14
We are hoping that a decision regarding the custody of The Whiskerville Cats will be made in a few days. These furry kids are adorable little survivors. Thanks for all of your support and caring.
The Civil Appeal Trial For The Whiskerville Cats
The Civil Appeal Jury Trial is scheduled to begin on May 14, 2012. We are hoping that shortly thereafter the Whiskerville Cats will be able to move forward towards their forever homes/fosters. They are such beautiful little furry troopers who have been trying to make the best of this. Not shown on here are $80 of contributions in cash for this ChipIn that have been given to GCARC.

Thanks a million for your wonderful support and caring!

The Whiskerville Cats Continue to Sit & Wait
There have been some legal actions this month but nothing that has made that official decision for The Whiskerville Cats to move on with their furry lives. They continue to sit in Legal Limbo and their medical needs continue.

Thank you so much for all of your caring.

Their Medical Needs Continue
Today we contributed $225 towards their medical needs. As they continue to sit and wait in legal limbo, the stress of this is taking its toll on these cute little furry kids. We hope that the legal system will soon realize that these little furry kids need to be given the opportunity to be adopted or fostered and not just sit and wait in kennels in legal system limbo. Thank you so very much for your caring and support.

The Whiskerville Cats Are Still in Legal Limbo
Thank you so much for your help and support. Many are still in medical isolation. Today we paid $130 towards their medical needs.
Pictures of the Whiskerville Cats in Recovery
As of today, the legal battle is continuing and The Whiskerville Cats are stuck in place and can not be adopted or fostered. Many are still very sick and are being kept in isolation. There are many little beautiful furry survivors who are getting better. This site has pictures of those in recovery. http://www.flickr.com/photos/dotnetphotography/sets/72157629021320927/with/6758482413/

Continution of the ChipIn for the Whiskerville Cats that ended in Jan.
In the Galveston, TX Newspaper, Whiskerville Animal Sanctuary was raided on Jan. 3, 2012 and Galveston County Animal control took 184 living cats from the facility. In addition, 27 cats were found dead. They are in need of ongoing medical care. Cash donations will used for taking care of these cats.

Kim Schoolcraft has asked us to help spread the word. It is Urgent!!!!! Many of the Cats are sick and she does not want the Public to handle them but if anyone can come to the Galveston County Shelter at 3412 Loop 197 North, Texas City, TX, 77590, 1-409-948-2485, Kim Needs help feeding and caring for the healthy cats and dogs. If you can foster or adopt a Cat or Dog, the shelter needs room for The Whiskerville Cats and Kim does not want to put Healthy Adoptable Cats and Dogs that are already there down to make room for The Whiskerville Cats.
